Pocklington Canal Amenity Society

DOUBLE NINE – THE PCAS MAGAZINE

Contributions welcomed

Our magazine is named Double Nine because the canal is about nine miles long and has nine locks.

We aim to publish three issues of Double Nine each year. This of course depends on the material available to produce a magazine!

Have you something to say in relation to the Pocklington Canal? We aim to cater for all tastes, not just boating. Maybe an article on wildlife, walking or angling? You do not even have to be a member of PCAS (although we would welcome you!) Have a go, let’s try to get more variety in our issues. If not an article but you have something to say, please send an email or a letter. All contributions will be gratefully received.

Please contact Alistair Anderson, if you would like to contribute an article.

The magazine is sent by post or email, or hand-delivered to local addresses to save postage.

With postage and printing costs rising, members who are happy to receive their magazine by email save PCAS money – and you will probably see your magazine before copies arrive by post. Please let us know if you would like to receive Double Nine by email.

Members will receive their printed copy of the Spring magazine soon. It has been sent to those who receive their copy by email.

If you do not receive your magazine please contact the Membership Secretary.
