Bielby Arm

Bielby Arm

The short arm is attractive and the shallow water provides a habitat for a diversity of aquatic plants. There is a foothpath alongside the arm.

The Bielby Arm was built to service the flour mill at the end of the arm. The mill was disused when PCAS was formed in 1969. More recently, the flour mill was converted into a private dwelling. The mill race is still visible.
