Information Centre

PCAS Information, Sales and Donations Centre

 

The Centre is located at Canal Head off the A1079 near Pocklington, opposite the former Wellington Oak Pub (YO42 1NW). It is manned by volunteers on fine Sundays between 10.am and 3 pm throughout the year. There is limited car parking to the left of the entrance or further along the access road leading to the Information Centre.

 

We have a range of PCAS themed merchandise for sale (see also our online  Shop along with doggie treat bags, bowls and packets of poo bags. There is also a large display of second hand books, and a special section inside the Information Centre of books about canals and boating. In addition, we welcome donations which all go towards the maintenance and restoration of the Canal. There is also a number of free leaflets giving more information about the Canal.

 

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to enable us to open the Information Centre on more days of the week or to assist on Sundays.
